PLANNING

The parish council meets every six weeks and considers all the planning applications. If necessary, the councillors also discuss applications in between these meetings. Larger applications, applications contrary to the Neighbourhood Plan and more controversial ones are responded to as necessary.

Each Friday, Preston City Council produces a list of new applications and an ongoing list of ones agreed either by officers or at planning meetings.

Application for utility works, highways/roads and larger infrastructure plans are the responsibility of Lancashire County Council and are published on their website. Some applications are subject to both authorities.
