Role Descriptor: Secretary to Broughton Parish Community Charity

The post holder will be the BPCC secretary, manage the accounts of the Toll Bar Cottage and for producing reports for the Charity.

Reporting to:  The Trustees of Broughton Parish Community Charity

Key Responsibilities 
•    Managing the accounts and Inputting into the approved accounting software: Quickbooks
•    Reconciling the Bank account
•    Preparing and submitting  VAT returns
•    Working with the Café Manager to reference the Cottage bank account using the photo-snap app
      o    Referencing the Pin Machine deposits
      o    Preparing reports
•    Reporting deficiencies promptly and checking remedial action has been completed.
•    Preparing the Agenda & taking the minutes for the CMC (CIO) meetings
•    Complying with regulations with regard to the CIO or as requested by the Responsible Finance Officer
•    Dealing with correspondence relating to the TBC/CIO
•    Working with the accountants with internal audit, payroll and HMRC

Remuneration 
This role is self-employed  or employed role or 6 + hours a week initially.
In addition, a Quick-book licences will be supplied on a reconditioned laptop as well as appropriate training.
This payment is part funded by Reaching Communities/Lottery until March 2024
