I am writing to inform you that an appeal has been made to the Planning Inspectorate by Hollins Strategic Land against the decision of the Preston City Council to refuse outline planning permission for Outline planning application seeking approval for access only for residential development for up to 51no. dwellings with associated works (all other matters reserved), in respect of Land west of Garstang Road,Broughton,Preston,PR3 5JA. The starting date for the appeal is 20-Oct-2023. The appeal is being dealt with by way of a Public Inquiry and I will inform you of the date of this when it has been arranged. It is open to you as a person who, or a representative of a body which, may be affected by the proposal, or as a person who made representations when the application was originally considered by the Council to make written representations, and to attend at the inquiry if you so wish. We have forwarded all the representations made to us on the application to the Planning Inspectorate and the appellant. The Inspector will consider these when determining the appeal.
