If you'd like to see a bird eye view of the route the planned Broughton Bypass will take, this new flyover video has been produced which gives an overhead look at how the new road will pass through the fields around Broughton.

The bypass is to run 2km in length and leaves the A6 just north of the Broughton crossroads. It will link with Whittingham Lane at a roundabout before coming down to D’urton Lane and the M55/A6 roundabout. Funded by the Preston, South Ribble and Lancashire City Deal, the Broughton Bypass will help relieve congestion from the 22,000 vehicles travelling through Broughton village and along the A6 each day.
